Mobius & Loud believes readers should know who owns the publication they're reading and how it pays its bills. Here's our full disclosure.

Ownership

Mobius & Loud is owned and operated by Mobius & Loud Media, LLC, a privately held limited liability company organized in the United States in May 2025.The company is wholly owned by its founder, Brad MacMayer. There are no outside investors, no parent corporation, and no private equity or venture capital stakeholders.

Editorial control

Editorial decisions — what we cover, how we cover it, and what we publish — are made by Möbius & Loud's editorial team under the direction of the founder. No advertiser, sponsor, affiliate partner, or commercial partner has the right to review, approve, or influence editorial content before publication.

How we make money

Our revenue comes from four sources:

1. Direct sales of our books — including the Seedance 2.0 Secrets series and other Möbius & Loud Media titles, sold through our own site and through retailers including Amazon

2. Direct sales of our music — digital releases and vinyl, sold through our site and via streaming platforms

3. Affiliate commissions — small payments from third-party retailers when readers click links and make purchases. These are disclosed at the article level and in the site footer.

4. Advertising and sponsorship — display advertising and (occasionally) clearly-labeled sponsored content. Sponsored content is always visually distinct from editorial and is never written by our news team. We do not currently publish much paid content; when we do, you'll know.

A reader subscription product is in development. When it launches, it will be the primary funding source for our journalism.

What we don't do

We don't accept payment from companies, individuals, or political entities in exchange for editorial coverage. We don't sell editorial influence. We don't run native advertising disguised as journalism. We don't write reviews for products we haven't independently used or evaluated.

Funding disclosures

If our funding structure changes — new investors, a parent company, a major institutional backer — we will update this page within 30 days of the change and note the update at the top. Last updated: May 13, 2026
